Our restaurant

 

Our mission is simple: to serve delicious, fresh food that our guests will want to return to week after week. We source all our ingredients locally within a 20 mile radius and are delivered fresh every day.Our head chef Reda draws upon his Mediterranean influences to deliver new and exciting flavours to add a twist to the traditional & the classics.

Our pizzas are  rustic, simple and made in an authentic way, baked in a stone oven using our own Italian tomato sauce & the finest ingredients.

Our breakfast kippers are from the famous smokehouse Pinney’s of Orford, vegetables are from the surrounding farmers and our meat produce from Proctors of Ipswich & Clarke’s Farm Butchers of Halesworth. All our seafood is from the local fisherman from Aldeburgh & Lowestoft

Our menu will develop and change with the seasons, and most importantly with what produce our suppliers can supply us that is local and fresh. Please see our menus and should you have any special dietary requirements do not hesitate to let our kitchen know and we will endeavour to deliver.

Please note that our dining room gets very busy and we advise all our guests to book at their earliest convenience

To accompany our selection of food, we serve an extended selection of Real Ales & Real Ciders – with up to 6 different varieties on at any one time. We also have an excellent & extended wine list.

During summer, food can be served outside in the sun as well as inside the pub.
